What CallRail does

CallRail assigns tracking numbers to marketing sources and to individual website visitors through dynamic number insertion, so each call is tied to its campaign, keyword and landing page. Calls can be recorded and transcribed, and the platform adds tools for routing calls, tagging them and analysing what was said.

It integrates with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4 and common CRMs, so qualified calls can be sent back as conversions. Form tracking and other lead sources are available alongside calls. It is widely used by local service businesses and the agencies that run their ads.

A good fit for

  • Local service businesses where calls are the main conversion.
  • Agencies running Google Ads for clients who take bookings by phone.
  • Teams that want transcripts and call analysis, not just a call count.

Probably not for

  • Businesses that rarely receive sales calls.
  • Organisations that need number coverage in countries the platform does not serve; check availability first.
