Leadfeeder alternatives: 6 options compared

By the editors of Analytics1.comLast reviewed 19 October 2026

The short answer

Teams look past Leadfeeder when its plan caps on identified companies feel tight, when they want visitor data inside a prospecting tool they already pay for, or when they want person-level rather than company-level identification. Apollo.io bundles visitor tracking with a contact database, HubSpot Breeze Intelligence suits HubSpot users, Albacross and Lead Forensics are company-level alternatives, and RB2B offers person-level matching in the US with privacy questions to check.

Why people switch from Leadfeeder

  • Company caps. Leadfeeder's paid plans are sized by the number of identified companies; its Discover plan covered up to 50 in October 2026.
  • Tool consolidation. If sales already uses a prospecting database, visitor identification inside that tool saves a second subscription.
  • Person-level ambitions. Leadfeeder names companies, not people. Some US teams want person-level identification, which carries more privacy risk.

What to check before switching

  1. Match rate on your own traffic: run a trial and count how many companies each tool names for the same week.
  2. Where data is processed and stored, and how the vendor handles GDPR and PECR if you have EU or UK visitors.
  3. CRM sync: does it create companies, contacts or both, and can you stop it creating junk records?
  4. Whether the tracking script needs consent under your consent banner set-up.

The options

Listed alphabetically, not ranked. Descriptions come from each vendor’s own site as of October 2026; we have not tested these products in a live account. Prices appear only where we read them on the vendor’s pricing page.

  1. Albacross

Best for: if you want EU-based company identification

Company identification and intent data from a European vendor, with CRM and ad platform integrations.

  2. Apollo.io

Best for: if you want visitor data inside a prospecting database

A B2B contact and company database with sequences and a dialer, plus website visitor tracking, so an identified company can be turned into contacts and outreach in one tool.

  3. HubSpot Breeze Intelligence

Best for: if you already run HubSpot

HubSpot's data enrichment and buyer intent layer, built on the former Clearbit, which identifies companies visiting your site inside HubSpot.

  4. Lead Forensics

Best for: if you want a sales-led company identification service

UK-founded company identification software that reveals businesses visiting your site, with contact details and alerts for sales teams.

  5. Leadfeeder (Lite plan)

Best for: if you want to stay but pay nothing

Leadfeeder's free Lite plan shows leads from the last 7 days. Some small teams find this is enough to spot the few companies worth a call.

  6. RB2B

Best for: if you want person-level matching for US traffic

Identifies individual US visitors and sends their profiles to Slack. Person-level identification raises privacy questions; check the rules for your market before using it.

Migration notes

  • Leave the old script running while you trial the new one; both can read the same visits.
  • Rebuild your filters (pricing-page visitors, return visits, target industries) before judging the new tool's output.
  • Remove the old script after cancelling, and update your privacy page's list of processors.

How the technology works and its limits: how to identify companies visiting your website. Head to head: Leadfeeder vs Apollo. More options: best website visitor identification tools.

Not legal advice. Company-level data is generally treated differently from personal data, but contact enrichment and outreach in the EU and UK bring GDPR and PECR into play.

Questions

Is Leadfeeder now Dealfront?
Leadfeeder is part of Dealfront, formed when Leadfeeder combined with Echobot. The Leadfeeder product and its website identification continue under the Dealfront group.
Can any tool identify individual visitors?
Some US-focused tools claim person-level matching. Most visitor identification, including Leadfeeder, names companies from IP data. Person-level identification is far more sensitive under privacy law, especially in the EU and UK.
