AgencyAnalytics alternatives: 5 options compared

By the editors of Analytics1.comLast reviewed 19 October 2026

The short answer

Agencies look past AgencyAnalytics mainly because it is priced per client, so cost rises with every account, or because they want a free, fully custom option. Looker Studio is free but needs building and connectors; DashThis, Databox, Whatagraph and Swydo are paid reporting tools with different pricing units and depth of customisation.

Why people switch from AgencyAnalytics

  • Per-client pricing. AgencyAnalytics' own pricing starts per client per month, so an agency with many small retainers pays for each one.
  • Fully custom reports. Teams with an analyst on staff sometimes prefer building exactly what they want in a free tool.
  • Business-wide dashboards. In-house teams reporting on one company do not need client portals and white labelling.

What to check before switching

  1. Connector coverage for every platform your clients use, including call tracking and CRMs, and whether connectors cost extra.
  2. White label: custom domain, logo and branded emails if clients log in.
  3. How historical data is fetched: some tools pull history from the source on connection; others only from the day you connect.
  4. Who owns the data sources. Client accounts should stay in the client's name, with your agency added as a user.

The options

Listed alphabetically, not ranked. Descriptions come from each vendor’s own site as of October 2026; we have not tested these products in a live account. Prices appear only where we read them on the vendor’s pricing page.

  1. DashThis

Best for: if you want simple automated client dashboards

Automated marketing reports built from templates and integrations, priced by number of dashboards rather than by user.

  2. Databox

Best for: if you want KPI dashboards and goal tracking

Dashboards and scorecards that pull metrics from many sources, with goals, alerts and benchmarks. Used by in-house teams as well as agencies.

  3. Looker Studio

Best for: if you want free, fully custom reports

Google's free report builder with native connectors for GA4, Google Ads, Search Console and Sheets. Other platforms usually need a paid partner connector, and every report is yours to build and maintain.

  4. Swydo

Best for: if you want PPC-focused client reporting

Reporting and monitoring for agencies, with templates for paid search and social, scheduled reports and KPI monitoring.

  5. Whatagraph

Best for: if you want cross-channel reports with data blending

Marketing reporting with connectors, data blending across sources and white-label reports for agencies.

Migration notes

  • Rebuild your top three report templates first and run them alongside the old reports for one month so clients see consistent numbers.
  • Keep metric definitions identical (sessions vs users, key events vs conversions) or month-on-month comparisons will break.
  • Tell clients before their login or report email changes.

Questions

Is there a free alternative to AgencyAnalytics?
Looker Studio is free and connects natively to Google's own products. Connectors for Meta, LinkedIn, call tracking and most CRMs usually come from paid third-party partners, and you build and maintain every report yourself.
How is AgencyAnalytics priced?
Per client. Its pricing page showed the Core plan from $20 per client per month, billed annually, in October 2026. Check the page for current terms.
