What Synder does

Synder sends sales, fees, refunds and taxes from more than 30 sales and payment platforms (Shopify, Stripe, Amazon, PayPal and Square among them) to QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite or Sage Intacct, either per transaction or as daily, monthly or payout-based summaries. It reconciles each payout against a clearing account and flags discrepancies, and offers rules-based categorisation, reporting and ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscriptions.

For ecommerce analytics this solves a real problem: marketing tools report revenue before fees, refunds and returns, while profit lives in the ledger. Clean, reconciled books are what let you calculate true margin per channel, which feeds the break-even ROAS and LTV to CAC calculations.

A good fit for

  • Stores selling on several channels (Shopify plus Amazon, or Stripe plus PayPal) that reconcile by hand today.
  • Bookkeepers and accountants serving ecommerce clients.

Probably not for

  • Single-channel stores with low volume, where the native accounting integration may be enough.
  • Anyone looking for marketing attribution: Synder is accounting data, not traffic data.

Alternatives

  • A2X: Ecommerce payout summaries for Xero and QuickBooks.
  • DataHawk: Amazon and Walmart sales, ads and SKU profitability.
